%X This study investigated the factors influencing poultry farmers¡¯ access to credit with particular reference to the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) in the Ga-East Municipality. Primary data was collected from a total of 61 poultry farmers sampled from three communities in the Municipality using the simple random sampling technique. To determine the extent to which borrowers¡¯ and enterprises¡¯ characteristics influenced access to ADB¡¯s credit, the regression probit model was employed. Results of the study indicated that majority of the farmers belonged to a farmer-based organization. Secondary occupation and farmer-based organization membership positively influenced access to credit and were significant at (p<0.01) level, market turnover and age on the other hand, directly and indirectly influenced access to credit and were significant at (p<0.05) and (p<0.10) levels respectively.
