%X The theoretical basis of the method of accelerated life tests of nickel-cadmium batteries have been considered. The effect of self-discharge of a resource of nickel-cadmium batteries running in standby mode is shown. The effect of temperature on the rate of self-discharge Ni-Cd batteries is shown.
