The equations of motion based on two-dimensional theory of elasticity is applied under the plane stress-strain assumptions of elastic plate of polygonal cross-sections namely, triangle, square, pentagon and hexagon is made of isotropic material. The frequency equations are obtained for longitudinal and flexural anti symmetric modes of vibrations. The computed non-dimensional frequencies are plotted in the form of dispersion curves for the material copper. Comparison is made between the frequency responses of plate in space and plate immersed in fluid. The general theory can be used to study any kinds of ring shaped plate using the proper geometrical relations. %K Solid-Fluid Interface %K Wave Propagation in Plate %K Vibration of Thermal Plate %K Piezoelectric Plate %K Plate Immersed in Fluid %K Generalized Thermo Elastic Plate %K Cylinder Immersed in Fluid %U http://article.sapub.org/10.5923.j.mechanics.20130301.03.html
