%X The solid-state structure of the complex para-sulphonato-calix[8]arene ¨C dimethylammonium ¨C dimethylformamide shows the para-sulphonato-calix[8]arene anion in a pleated cone conformation with the inclusion of four dimethylammonium cations and the dimethylformamide positioned exo to the macrocycle.
