%0 Journal Article %T Discursos de encuentro y tensi¨®n en torno a la imagen de la mujer venezolana y la pornograf¨ªa %A Gonz¨¢lez %A Jeyni %J Revista Venezolana de Estudios de la Mujer %D 2008 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X our purpose is to depict a reflection on how a variety of images from advertising and other areas are diffused through press and audiovisuals media, and how they try to define aesthetic, erotic and pornographic female patterns, taking root deeply every day in venezuela. on the other hand, a discussion is presented too about the anti-pornographic dissertations given as regulatory discourses on the subjectivity, the body, the gender and desire, which set limits to sexual practices and corporal models marked in the terms of acceptance or nonacceptance. although the classifications realised on the pornography are quite different, depending upon who produces them, consume them, and who makes the regulation or try to check their consumption and diffusion, we can find a coincidence between the goals pursued by producers and control agents, and their respective interest for defining, building and setting up a venezuelan woman£¿s sexuality image, sensuality and eroticism. thus, these notions mingle with the notions on gender, and therefore making for as relevant points in order the identity construction (individual and collective). %K pornography %K woman %K communication media %K church %K state %K feminism %K post-pornography. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1316-37012008000100008&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
