%X in addition to migrants detained during illegal border crossings, the u.s. government today deports a growing number of mexican citizens captured there, who are classifed as criminals. the objective of this article is to analyze the causes of deportation that 3 457 repatriated men cited when receiving the services of the house of the migrant in tijuana in 2010. this article¡¯s findings show that most of the migrants were deported because they had committed traffic violations or offenses involving the consumption of alcohol and drugs or domestic violence.
