%X the letter of pseudo aristeas is one of the earliest sources about the origin of the old testament version called lxx , and it has been subject to various interpretations because of the innumerable amount of data that brings about the hellenistic era. this paper presents a proposal for interpretation of the pseudo-aristeas letter based on the figure of the king who is described and its relationship with the law.
