%X in the face of the current degradation of the environment, the challenge is for individuals and institutions to act in a sustainable way. we urgently need to acquire ecological knowledge and behaviour that will allow us to develop without growing beyond our limits; therefore, an effective relationship between sustainability and education is one of the most urgent and necessary challenges. conscious of this, we present an educational proposal- environmental and intercultural education for sustainable development - that introduces sustainable management in the curriculum and lets us cover the distance between theory and practice, preparing students to make decisions adapted to sustainability.
