%X this work examines the return migration process to pernambuco, proceeding from the state of s£żo paulo, in the period of 1970-2000, treating the migratory flow from the perspective of the social networks. as a result, the return characterize the reversibility of movement to the agreste pernambucano, where a lot of migrants returned to.
