%0 Journal Article %T Hidrataci¨®n en el transoperatorio del reci¨¦n nacido quir¨²rgico: diez a£¿os de experiencia %A Palmero %A Mar¨ªa Isabel %A Zambrano %A Jos¨¦ %A Le¨®n %A Susana %A P¨¦rez %A Francisco %A Gonz¨¢lez %A Ricardo %J Revista de Obstetricia y Ginecolog¨ªa de Venezuela %D 2005 %I Sociedad de Obstetricia y Ginecolog¨ªa de Venezuela %X objective: to evaluate the use of the hidratation by the modified berry method, in the transoperative in newborn that was put under operations from january 1990 to december 2000. method: retrospective, descriptive study of 525 newborns, that admitted to the service of neonatal surgery, of the maternity "conception palacios" that required operation; in 426 we used the hidratation according to the modified berry method. setting: servicio de cirug¨ªa neonatal. departamento de pediatr¨ªa. maternidad "concepci¨®n palacios". caracas. results: glicemia, was normal in 93.90% of the cases, the same ocurried with the calcium in 96, 60%, the phosphorus in 99%, sodium in 98.60%, and the potassium in 98.13%. conclusions: the scheme berry modified method for hidratation used in transoperative, avoids posoperative complications because it manages to give newborn hidroelectrolitic and metabolic stability. %K hidratation in transoperative %K surgical newborn. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0048-77322005000200006&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
