%X this essay confronts the well-known 20th century tendency of declaring the £¿death of epistemology.£¿ a summarized re-reading of wittgenstein£¿s texts from the early 1930s is presented, illustrating the parallactic epistemology to which those texts point. possible objections are answered by means of a fictitious dialogue with an imaginary traditional epistemologist. the conclusion is that wittgenstein£¿s lesson consists of making us experience the fragility as well as the richness of our certainties and knowledge within a vital space simultaneously constituted by human experience (inasmuch as it can be articulated) and the world (inasmuch as it can be experienced).
