%X through reflection on the meanings of the concepts of aesthetics and ethics, this article reviews the relations between both, from the greeks to the present day. the article argues how mystical knowledge, in so far as it is an ethic-aesthetic of life, flowers as a space for the possibility of the artist£¿s transcendence from the aesthetic realm to creativity.
