%X this study, which was carried out in the field of anatomy, was based on the search of an alternative to formol in the preservation of anatomic pieces, taking less aggressive substances for the environment into consideration and aiming to decrease the number of animals destined for the study of anatomy. on the other hand, anatomic models were designed and elaborated in differential materials, such as plaster, acrylic, latex and resin, in order to be used as an educational tool in the subject's teaching-learning process. likewise, the plastination process of certain organs began so as to allow their preservation and study in the most natural way possible.
