%0 Journal Article %T Entre Bogot¨˘ y Caracas modelos emergentes de la pol¨Ştica latinoamericana contempor¨˘nea %A Moreira %A Carlos %J Revista Venezolana de Econom¨Şa y Ciencias Sociales %D 2008 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X this article studies the models of public latin-american policies after washington consensus, fundamentally those named bogot¨˘ and caracas models. stressing the characteristics of the historical cases used as reference, it is proposed that these models are constructed as weberian ideal types, (colombia and venezuela in the first decade of the 21st century). however, it is clarified that by no means it would be possible to recognize completely these historical phenomena in the definition of the model or ideal type. the elements or variables taken for the comparison are the democratic institution, the social justice, the relation among the state and the market and the world integration. the consideration of these elements allows setting the different national cases (uruguay, brazil, argentina, chile, ecuador and bolivia) in relation to the enunciated models. %K public politics models %K caracas %K bogot¨˘ %K latin american states. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1315-64112008000200003&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
