%0 Journal Article %T Propuesta de un modelo de medici¨®n para los procesos de la Gesti¨®n del Conocimiento en organizaciones de informaci¨®n %A Le¨®n Santos %A Magda %A Ponju¨¢n Dante %A Gloria %J Revista Interamericana de Bibliotecolog¨ªa %D 2011 %I Universidad de Antioquia %X the article states the need to have a measurement model for knowledge management, specifically in information organizations, and shows the main results of researches that served as a base for the posing of a measurement model for knowledge management in these organizations, that include: analysis of models precursors of scientific literature, feasibility of the application of the se models in information organizations and the relation between the processes and sub-processes of knowledge management as the capitals system and the measurement indicators. there is a description of the model and its four basic dimensions: actors; strategic processes of knowledge; support processes and organizational culture; capitals system, and indicators system. there is an explanation of the results of these four dimensions and final considerations, highlighting that the model represents a first look at the determination of the value in information organizations, based on the value of intangibles and gives a managerial tool for information professionals and information organizations, aiming to the continuous improvement of organizational performance and its positioning before the challenges of current society based on intangibles. %K knowledge management %K measurement methods %K information units. %U http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0120-09762011000100007&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
