%X the objective of this project was to make a preliminary design of an environmental noise monitoring network for those municipalities within aburr¨¢ valley metropolitan area, based on acoustic maps provided by aburr¨¢ valley metropolitan area, territorial ordering plans, and prior studies executed in each municipality of aburr¨¢ valley. for such purpose, this study proposes and develops a methodology for appropriately evaluating critical zones which have high levels of noise of negative impact on residential zones from urban areas in each one of such municipalities subjected to study.
