%X the object of this research is to know the incidence of the dental pulp and periapical damages. which one has more incidence and its causes sum the students of the primary education in the area of the policl¨ªnico docente de playa. the research is classified like descriptive observational. the sample studied was 1137 students with ages between 4 and 12 years old, which were examined to determine the presence of dental pulp and periapical pathologies and its relationship with other clinical variables. 5.2% of the children examined were affected by such lesions. the periapical lesions were predominant. the location of this pathologies predominated on the back jaw with 53.8%. the main causes
