%X the objective of this article is to illustrate that knowledge management is useful, especially in the construction of scenarios within the prospective stage; which is the result of a theoretical research based on bibliographic review of technological prospective and knowledge management contexts. the main results show: first of all, the interrelation between the process of technological prospective and the aspects of knowledge management; and second, the usefulness of knowledge management to construct prospective scenarios.
