%X this article shows that knowledge had played an important role in colombian growth history. using co-integration econometrical techniques, this article shows empirically, that colombian economy take-off and growing since 1905 until the end of 1970, and its posterior decreasing until the end of xx century is directly related to the application of technological knowledge in productive activity.
