%0 Journal Article %T Electrorretinograma estandarizado con respuesta de conos S y onda C en diab¨¦ticos sin retinopat¨ªa %A Paneca Santiesteban %A Rosaralis %A Amaro Nodarse %A Jorge E %A Mendoza Santiesteban %A Carlos E %A Santiesteban Freixas %A Rosaralis %J Revista Cubana de Oftalmolog£¿-a %D 2005 %I Editorial Ciencias M¨¦dicas %X in order to prove the usefulness of the electroretinogram in the functional study of the retina of the diabetic patient, it was recorded the electroretinogram of 30 sound subjects and 20 diabetics without retinopathy and unit vision, with different types of electroretinographic recordings, such as vertical bar, oscillatory potential, cones in general, s-cone, and c wave electroretinogram, and that of macular response to the maintained stimulation. on comparing them with the recordings of sound persons with a similar age, all the electroretinographic responses, excepting that of maintained stimulation, were abnormal in at least 60 % of the cases. the oscillatory potentials and the c wave were affected in 100 % of the cases %K electroretinogram %K retina %K diabetic patient %K macular and electroretinographic responses. %U http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0864-21762005000200006&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
