%0 Journal Article %T Correlaci¨®n eco-gammagr¨¢fica en la enfermedad de Legg-Calv¨¦-Perthes %A Rodr¨ªguez V¨¢zquez %A Matilde %A Marrero River¨®n %A Luis Oscar %A ¨¢lvarez Cambras %A Rodrigo %A San Anastacio %A Zen¨®n de la Cruz %A Roch¨¦ Eg¨¹es %A Hilda Elena %A Quintana Rodr¨ªguez %A Francisco Jos¨¦ %A Hern¨¢ndez Espinosa %A Orlando %J Revista Cubana de Ortopedia y Traumatolog£¿-a %D 2003 %I Editorial Ciencias M¨¦dicas %X the results of the prospective longitudinal study of 104 patients with presumptive diagnosis of legg-calv¨¦-perthes disease, which was carried out in ¡°frank pa¨ªs¡± international scientific orthopedic institution from september 1996 to december 1997 are presented. diagnostic ultrasound was performed on these patients; afterwards 28 patients with positive diagnosis were applied a bone scintigraph with pinhole collimator. conway¡äs scintigraphic classification together with an ultrasonographic classification according to waldestron¡äs radiological staging were used. when correlating the echographic studies to the scintigraphic ones, high coincidence was found in the first stages, which confirmed the early presumptive diagnosis of the disease. in the correlation of waldestron¡äs echographic stages to the time of development, it was observed that the echographic staging of hips is higher as the time of development increases. %K legg-perthes disease [diagnosis] %K legg-perthes disease [ultrasonography]. %U http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0864-215X2003000100005&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
