%0 Journal Article %T Efectividad de la terapia floral de California en pacientes con diagn¨®stico de estr¨¦s %A Duarte Zamora %A Elis %A Carrero Figueroa %A Magaly V. %A Alonso Men¨¦ndez %A Hilda %A Moreno Puebla %A Reynol %A Belet Rodr¨ªguez %A Giralda %A Luaces Arg¨¹elles %A Mabel %J Revista Cubana de Medicina Militar %D 2006 %I ECIMED %X a comparative, prospective, therapeutical and clinical study was undertaken in a sample of 50 patients, from september 2004 to march 2005. they were divided into two groups, a study group (a), and a control group (b), with 25 individuals each, selected by the simple randomised method to demonstrate the effectiveness of california's floral essences as a therapeutical choice for stress. each patient had a clinical microhistory and a vulnerability test and roja's test, which was repeated at 7, 15, 30, and 60 days of treatment. the highest incidence was observed in males aged 31-40, with a predominance of insomnia, hypoamnesia, sexual dysfunction, obesity, depression, stress, irritability, and restlessness. the most used floral essences were: garlic, saint john's wot, stick monkey flowers, hibiscus, filare, yerba santa, chrysanthemun, borage, chaparral, chamomille, lavender, and rose mary. 100% of the treated patients had a satisfactory evolution with a rapid incorporation to their usual activities. %K stress %K floral therapy %K traditional medicine. %U http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0138-65572006000400011&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
