%X the case of a 56-year-old man with an extense verrucous chromoblastomycosis of long evolution, with lesions in the right foot that had not been cured with previous treatment, and that was successfully treated by surgical exeresis of all the lesions together with oral ketoconazole, is presented. literature was reviewed to conclude that the treatment of chromoblastomycosis is still a challenge and that it should be selected for each case in particular.
