%X a bibliographic review on the topic of accidents, specially in children, is carried out, and it is stressed the importance of prevention, since they are the first cause of death among children aged 1-14 years. information is provided on the types and main causes of accidents at these ages. recommendations are also given for the preventive work of the health team in primary care.
