%X this is the case of a female asymptomatic patient, in whom incidentally authors discovered the presence of splenomegalia from splenic cystic tumor; a splenectomy was carried out that from the histological point if view corresponding to a splenic pseudocyst. we conclude that in differential diagnosis of a splenomegalia, we must to consider splenic cystic and pseudocystic lesions. partial or total splenomegalia is a efficacious therapeutical option allowing differentiation between cyst and splenic pseudocyst.
