%X present paper is a review of current concepts of atherosclerosis as a chronic inflammatory phenomenon of vascular endothelium and of significance involvement of endothelial adhesion cells in the main clinical ways of acute coronary syndrome: unstable angina and myocardial acute infarction. different authors describe the results achieved in adhesion molecules study in this syndrome, its significance in diagnosis associated with conventional serum parameters and its therapeutical potential.
