%0 Journal Article %T IMPLEMENTACI¨®N DE T¨¦CNICAS SENCILLAS DE REMOCI¨®N DE PROTE¨ªNAS MAYORITARIAS DE PLASMA SANGU¨ªNEO PARA AN¨¢LISIS POR ELECTROFORESIS BIDIMENSIONAL (2D) %A Bueno %A Yenny %A Mu£¿oz %A Gerardo %A Torres S¨¢ez %A Rodrigo %J Revista Colombiana de Qu¨ªmica %D 2011 %I Universidad Nacional de Colombia %X the blood plasma samples are one of the most interesting in the diagnosis, prognosis of various diseases. however, the sample is more difficult when setting its proteome, due to the presence of interference and abundant proteins that hinder the detection of minor proteins. to improve the resolution of proteins separated by electrophoretic techniques, we compare different methods of removal of major proteins in plasma of patients with acute coronary syndrome, by using techniques of precipitation with salts and organic solvents at different concentrations. subsequently, the removal of plasma proteins treated by these methods was verified by proteomic analysis by using protein electrophoresis (1d-and 2d-sds-page), image analysis and bioinformatics techniques. the analysis showed that simple methods such as treatment with acetone 75% (v/v) decreased the concentration of albumin, removed the interferences that hinder the detection of minor proteins, increasing the intensity of protein spots separated by 2d electrophoresis, and improving the resolution and detection of separated proteins of blood plasma. %K blood plasma %K proteomics %K acute coronary syndrome %K electrophoresis. %U http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0120-28042011000200001&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
