%X design and development of pharmaceutical formulations is supported by a critical selection of excipients and standard processes that allows pharmaceutical chemists to obtain an efficient and safe product. excipients like colorants are very important in the stability and the final presentation of drugs, but the available information about the colorants used in pharmaceutical preparations is not always updated and not available to the public use, and in general it increases the time for searching and selection. the information system sinco was developed for compiling physical and chemical properties data of colorants approved in colombia that allows the user to make a critical selection of the most compatible colorants for the pharmaceutical formulations.
