%X the interest of the country, in relation to the cultivation of the cocoa like exportable line and source of food, to increase, to renew and to rehabilitate the plantations and the imperious need of use of systems of irrigation in the cultivation on the new climatic dynamics's base, subsuperficial for fuze, regarding the irrigation for microaspersi¨®n aerial, in the growth and development of postures of cocoa drove to the realization of this work for the sake of evaluating the effectiveness of technology of irrigation, propagated for microinjertation. the experiment, designed in bloques at random, he was repaired for 4 treatments with 3 replies. the treatments t1, t2 and t3 answered to the irrigation subsuperficial for mecha, while the t4 corresponded to treatment witness ( microaspersi¨®n ). variables gone into were: diameter and length of the graft and area foliating. aftermath evidenced bigger effectiveness of irrigation subsuperficial in relation to the microaspersi¨®n, better alcanz¨¢ndose development and growth in the postures of cocoa microinjertadas, in addition to the saving of the 96% of the water arranged for the irrigation. enter treatments subsuperficiales, the t1 was the more promissory. the utilization of this new technique of irrigation without the job of electric power and at zones with scarce rainfall becomes evident.
