%0 Journal Article %T Efecto de tres l¨¢minas de riego sobre la remoci¨®n de zinc en Andosoles del Valle Hort¨ªcola de Almolonga en Guatemala %A Sacbaj¨¢ G %A Ovidio Anibal %A Armengol D¨ªaz %A Jorge E %A Brown Manrrique %A Oscar %A Mujica Cervantes %A Albi %J Revista Ciencias T£¿£¿cnicas Agropecuarias %D 2012 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X whit the objective of evaluating the effect of three irrigation layers (80, 160 and 320 mm) on the removal of zinc in agricultural soils (andosols) in almolonga, guatemala, with zinc concentrations equivalent to 100, 200, 400 and 800 ppm, layers of water were applied to these soils at a depth of 15 cm, in pvc tubes and laboratory conditions. each treatment received two irrigations in a first and second period. drained volume was collected by the bottom of the tube, where mass of removed zinc mzn (g), and zinc removal efficiency rzn (g/ha) for each applied layer were measured. the results demonstrated that the application of the irrigation produce removal of zinc in the soil mass, concluding that the greater the concentration of zinc in soils, the greater the removal that is achieved on this element, reaching for the layer 320 mm greater removal of zinc, in mzn (g), as in rzn (g/ha) during the second period of irrigation with zinc removal efficiency equivalent to 17862, 00 g/ha. %K rainwater harvesting technologies %K water balance %K micro-basin. %U http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S2071-00542012000400002&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
