%X contrasting the most known perceptions about relations between brazil and africa, the article evaluates brazilian diplomatic emphasis on bilateral and multilateral levels. there would be a trend towards growing mobilization in favor of a rescue of africa that would be carried out through united nations. this trend would fit brazilian preferences.
