%0 Journal Article %T N¨®dulos del tiroides: incidentalomas %A Gonz¨¢lez %A F¨¦lix %A Nicolau Mena %A Orlando %A Durruthy %A Odalis %A Guerra Gonz¨¢lez %A Wilson Alfredo %J Revista Archivo M£¿£¿dico de Camag£¿£¿ey %D 2009 %I Centro Provincial de Informaci¨®n de Ciencias M¨¦dicas de Camag¨¹ey %X background: tyroid nodule¡äs are frequently asymptomatic and they are diagnosed in casual way. objective: to establish clinical-imaging and cytohistologic relation of the thyroid nodule¡äs diagnosed on incidental way. method: a descriptive study was conducted, in a sample of one-hundred fourteen patients taken from a universe formed by all the patients to those were carried out doppler study (three hundred seventy seven patients) from september 2007 to october 2008 at "manuel ascunce domenech" hospital. results: in the study sample a preponderance of the feminine sex existed, where the micronodular lesions prevailed in both sexes. most of the patients with thyroid nodule¡äs had 51 or more years. conclusions: ultrasonografically, solid nodular lesions prevailed. cytohistologically, was bigger the number of patients with colloid goiter also three patients with thyroid neoplasia were found which also were carrier macronodular lesions. %K thyroid nodule %K incidentaloma %K ultrasonography %K cytology. %U http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1025-02552009000400005&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
