In this study, I have dealt with the phenomenon of tattoo from a psychological perspective as an attempt to find out the extent of its spread in the Algerian society and to analyze it and its symbolism psychologically. The study was conducted on a sample of 145 cases of different ages and sexes. We relied on the clinical interview and direct scientific observation.
