MARIO OSORIO MARQUES: BREVE BIOGRAFIA DE UM PENSADOR DA EDUCACAO

The aim of this paper is to present a biographical synthesis of the Mario Osorio Marques trajectory, highlighting the different dimensions of his life story, considering their formation, as a teacher and intellectual, their participation in public life as citizen and community leader, and their intellectual production. Considering the absence of specific works dealing with its history, It becomes important and even necessary, the approach proposed, even if on a preliminary basis,in the direction of giving visibility to an extremely important figure in the history of Brazilian educational thought.
