%X the aim of the present paper is to describe the reconstructing of psychological intervention in a shelter for women in situations of intrafamilial and gender violence. this work began with the establishment of clinical supervision meetings, in the format of psychological service intercontrol. during such meetings, there was an evaluation of the functional attributes regarding the work carried out up to that point, and the establishment of a new intervention proposal. the main reference of the new proposal is the need for psychological intervention in the institutional context, considering the issue of confronting violence against women.
