%X this articleanalyses the tendency to understand the technique of discussiongroup (present in the spanish space and latin american) asa less directivefocus group. this simplifying idea is confusing and is criticized with the objective to know the motives that hold together both techniques. the analysis established the dependent relationship between discussiongroup and focus group, as well as finding in this dependence the reason to understand the discussiongroup as a group dynamics totally different to the focus group.
