%X this work presents relative constructions in xipaya and the strategies used in building such constructions. it is observed that relativization is marked by the morpheme jah£¿, and, with much lower productivity, by juxtaposition. the relative constructions that are grammatically marked may occur with or without a modified head, and in both cases it is possible for the construction to occur embedded or not in the matrix clause.
