%X with this theoretical essay, we try to think about the experience of being hiv positive from an existential and psychological standpoint, addressing both the difficulties of living with a body perceived as ¡°unhealthy¡±, and the difficulties associated with this particular infection. we try also to think about the factors affecting treatment adherence to antiretroviral therapy and, finally, from an existential-phenomenological perspective, we seek to shed light on the reasons behind the difficulties in coping with this diagnosis.
