%X in this work we try to make the methodology of the networks work in the field of the literary studies. nevertheless, we have initially carried out a review of the network¡¯s notions and we discussed some of the existing theoretical orientations. the general aim is to reveal the ways allowed by the networks, across their frameworks, the transfer of cultural topics (ideas, modes, trends, etc.) by doing it without personal contacts or by not being these determinants. also, the way the networks prepare the scenario in which an idea can emerge triumphant and get to be imposed in a certain space. the case that we will see, with only an exemplary value, will be the one of the spanish-american modernism, but the heuristic capacity of the networks certainly does not run out with it.
