Our examination of the origins and the evolutions of such notions as huaben话本 (storyteller’s script), shegeng舌耕(cultivation with tongue) and shuoshu说书(talk about books) as well as the style of the novels included therein falsifies the traditional categorization of the book. Rather than about the art of oral storytelling, the section of Shegeng xuyin舌耕叙引(introduction to cultivation with tongue) in Zuiweng tanlu is just a description of the thriving creation activities of the then novelists and the works included in the book are all the novels intended for reading instead of the scripts of oral storytelling %K 话本 %K 舌耕 %K 语体 %K 文人小说< %K /br> %K storyteller’s script %K shegeng %K language style %K novel %U http://njsfdxskb.paperonce.org//oa/darticle.aspx?type=view&id=201601016
