Previously, we have cloned a PlGA20ox gene (GeneBank accession number: KU886552) from Paeonia lactiflora. To further reveal its function, we constructed an expression vector in the present study and then transformed it into Arabidopsis thaliana plants by floral dip method. The transgenic plants exhibited an early bolting, increased height and improved vegetative growth.
