南沙属于热带海区,物质来源极为广泛,是古环境研究的重要地区。本研究在南沙海域采集了6个21 cm~29 cm长的沉积物岩芯,测定了生物硅(BSi, SiO2%)和碳酸盐的含量。结果给出生物硅含量为0.87%~4.91%,平均为2.08%;碳酸盐含量为15.5%~57.0%,平均为33.2%。岩芯中的生物硅含量和碳酸盐含量随深度不存在明显一致的变化规律。对全部样品,生物硅、碳酸盐、有机碳及其与含水率之间存在正相关关系。<br/>The Nansha Sea area belongs to the tropical sea area which has extensive material source, and is an important setting for the research of paleoenvironment. In this study, six sediment cores of 21 - 29 cm long were collected from the Nansha Sea area, and biogenic silica and carbonate in the sediment cores were determined. The range of biogenic silica content (SiO2%) is from 0.87% to  4.91% with the average of 2.08%. The carbonate content is in the range between 15.5% and 57.0% with the average of 33.2%. The biogenic silica and carbonate contents of sediment cores do not have an obvious same tendency with the depth changing. For all samples, biogenic silica, carbonate, organic carbon, and water content, show a positive correlation.
