%X Special-contracted teachers¡¯ scheme, conducted by the central government, is a policy which aims to supply teachers for compulsory education in western China. A large number of special-contracted teachers are recruited in Guizhou province. Research method of investigation is used in this study. The purpose is finding the problems of professional development of special-contracted teachers and looking for the suggestions for the professional development of special-contracted teachers.
