%X Con este trabajo trataremos de demostrar el considerable valor de las cartas de Plinio el Joven como fuente para el conocimiento conceptual y arquitect車nico de las uillae romanas analizando detenidamente sus Epistolae y comprobando su constataci車n arqueol車gica no s車lo en uillae italianas, sino tambi谷n en algunas espa olas recientemente recuperadas, concretamente en Andalucia, regi車n actual que corresponde grosso modo con la antigua provincia romana de la Baetica. Through this work we'll try to prove the considerable value of Pliny the Younger's letters as a source of conceptual and architectonical knowledge of roman uillae by analyzing carefully their Epistolae and by proving too their archaeological reality not only in Italian uillae, but also in some Spanish ones recently recovered, specially in Andalusia, current region which roughly corresponds with the ancient Roman province of the Baetica.
