Chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the main methods in therapy of NSCLC. The identification and characterization of predictive markers of radio- and chemo-sensitivity will be beneficial with customized treatment of NSCLC patients. This article will review the evidence regarding breast cancer susceptibility gene 1 (BRCA1) as a new predictive marker for chemotherapy and radiotherapy of NSCLC. %K Lung neoplasms %K Breast cancer susceptibility gene 1 %K Radiotherapy %K Chemotherapy %U http://dx.doi.org/10.3779/j.issn.1009-3419.2012.08.06
