Amongthe different porous solids, carbon materials areproposed as promising candidates both in terms ofadsorption capacity and selectivity towards CO2against other molecules of similar moleculardimensions. Both the porous structure and the surfacechemistry are critical factors defining theadsorption/separation properties. The presence ofa well-defined and highly developed porous structure, mainly in the microporous range, together with thepresence of surface groups with basic character(nitrogen groups) allow the development of carbonmaterials with promising properties in theaforementioned application. %U http://dialnet.unirioja.es/descarga/articulo/3954642.pdf
