Se realiz車 el ensaye de las ocho trabes de concreto reforzado reparadas ante carga mon車tona creciente, y sus curvas carga-desplazamiento se comparan con las de las trabes originales. La reparaci車n con la malla electrosoldada permiti車 que la capacidad de deformaci車n y la resistencia de cada uno de los elementos aumentara, en algunos casos de manera notable. An exploratory experimental study is presented where eight beams previously designed and tested to fail in shear, where the previous testing damage was substantial, were repaired using a beam jacketing consisting of a light-gauge steel wired mesh covered with 2 cm thick grout. Repaired beams were tested under monotonic loading and the obtained load-displacement curves were compared with those obtained for the original beams.
