%X Se elabor車 una ecuaci車n para la estimaci車n de vol迆menes maderables en 芍rboles con aptitud para aserr赤o (floreables) en inventarios de bosques de lenga (Nothofagus pumilio (Poepp. et Endl.) Krasser). Esta funci車n resulta muy consistente y se basa en una gran cantidad de 芍rboles muestra extra赤dos por floreo, de acuerdo con los criterios tradicionales de selecci車n que emplean los motosierristas de la regi車n. La ecuaci車n ha sido empleada exitosamente para estimar el volumen maderable de la especie en el Inventario del bosque nativo de la provincia del Chubut. An equation for the net volume estimation of ＆Lenga＊ forests (Nothofagus pumilio, Poepp. et Endl. Krasser) was designed. This function gives highly consistent results and is based on a large number of sample trees obtained by a selective cutting method called ＆floreo,＊ which is similar to the traditional method used by local woodsmen. The equation has been successfully employed to estimate the net volume of species for the Chubut Province native forest inventory.
