%X The flexibility of housing unit is achieved through a complex design process which includes an analysis of influencing factors of flexibility, their potentials and limitations for the purpose of improvement of residential space organization. This paper explains the proposed evaluation method of internal flexibility of housing units in multifamily housing which may be accepted as a general model. The presented method is based on the elements of multicriteria analysis, where the object of evaluation is assessed through a number of physical criteria that are directly related to the concept of flexibility. The applied methodology aims to determine the best combination of criteria parameters, on the base of which further guidelines in flexible housing design are given.
