When students leave the safety net of the university campus they often feel abandoned and disconnected from the very source that has helped them progress thus far into the profession. This study reviews the use of BlackBoard Discussion Board as a medium attempting to eliminate the feeling of displacement of these students. Results indicate that students are acclimatized to socialization and connections via a web-based medium and are open and willing to use it in resolving challenges faced during their Fieldwork II placement. The use of BlackBoard Discussion Board serves as a useful and meaningful tool to sustain positive connections with students completing their final clinical requirements off campus. %K Occupational Therapy %K Fieldwork %K Discussion Boards %K Online Learning %U http://www.rcetj.org/index.php/rcetj/article/view/70/132
